This Bold Bordjalou contains all the features we look for in a great Kazak rug: saturated color, sumptuous mountain wool, and a super floppy handle. Would work great on the floor or as a wall piece.
Condition - Fair. High pile in some areas with lower pile in others. Heavy corrosion to the black field with old brown repiling in the field.
Size - 6’5” x 4’8”
Age - mid 19th century
Technical information- Wool pile on wool foundation. Symmetrically knotted.
