Typical of many tribal weavings, a general compositional layout is interspersed with many 'improvisational' motifs, ranging from symbolic to literal in their possible interpretations. The effervescent colors of this piece, a hallmark of the best Southwest Persian weavings, need hardly be mentioned.
- Condition - Very good. completely intact and all original except for two very small repairs visible on the picture of the backside. Low/medium pile all around.
