The ubiquitous Boteh (paisley) design is rendered in classic Qashqai form here. The precise articulation and fine weave indicate this piece was woven by settled rather than nomadic people of the Kashkuli sub-tribe.


  • Condition - Good. Even low pile all around. A few very small repairs. Redone fringes. Ready for use.

  • Size - 5'7" x 3'8"

  • Age- 19th century

  • Technical information- Wool pile on wool warp and wool weft. Asymmetrically knotted.
