76) Kurdish sikh kabob design rug

This early 19th century Kurdish rug features a soulful rendition of the Serrated leaf lattice design.  The limited yet luminous color palette endows this piece with an almost classical profundity not found in some of the more bombastically colored Persian village weavings.
